Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Annual Funds and Prospect Research, responsible for oversight and management ofcompliance and data management elements essential to individual (including but not limited to patients, community members, prior donors, alumni, parents of alumni, and students) annual giving campaigns (solicitation and stewardship) for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Brenner Children's Hospital, and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. .
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of relevant experience, which may include accounting, data analysis, and/or legal experience preferred
What You'll Do:
- In conjunction with the Director and our legal liaisons,ensure that the WFUHS and WFUBMC entities are either exempt, are not required to register, or current on annual Charitable Solicitation Registrations/Licenses in each state, including the District of Columbia for the solicitation of donors who reside there.
- Responsible for the accurate documentation of HIPAA patient opt-out requests both in our medical record system as well as our fundraising database to ensure that HIPAA regulations are adhered to and that documentation is appropriate for internal audits and the Office of Civil Rights inquiries.
- Analyze complex patient and/or donor data/criteria to prepare segmented lists for annual giving campaigns, ensuring high personalization while maintaining data integrity.
- With the Director and prospect research team, manage patient solicitation system for projects with complex criteria. Ensuring that the patient data file excludes all patient opt-outs of fundraising records.
- Work with multiple vendors/stakeholders to ensure accurate print/fulfillment of complex direct mail projects for solicitation and stewardship of donors, alumni and patients, ensuring that all aspects are achieved within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the booking of and maintenance of the Hawthorne Hill Room on the main campus.
- Inpartnership with the Director, process invoices for payment and manage the Annual Funds expenses to ensure the Annual Funds team is within our annual budget.
- Work with the Director to prepare and analyze monthly reports to measure the acquisition and retention performance (against annual goals) of solicitation, cultivation and stewardship projects and activities, including the strategic identification of lapsed donors and alumni for Special Gifts Officers to contact for visits and solicitation.
- Responsible to generate monthly reports related to regular annual giving mailings such as pledge completion postcards, first-time donor postcards and fulfillment of these mailings. Identify inaccuracies/inconsistencies with donor data and provide to the Gift and Data Services team.
- Arrange and participate in, as directed, student stewardship opportunities, advisory group and committee meetings and retreats as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range
$28.05 - $42.10
