Your new roleWorking as an Underwriter within Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be:

• Connecting with new and existing clients and third parties to understand their transaction insurance needs
• Cultivating client relationships with brokers and transactional advisers through targeted business development efforts
• Reviewing due diligence reports, transaction documentation and company financials. Identifying and managing key risk issues
• Negotiating coverage to ensure that the policy appropriately addresses the key risks identified in diligence while aligning with market standards

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful as an M&A Underwriter, you will have:

• Experience in mergers & acquisitions (minimum requirement)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and commercial information, manage multiple workstreams, and distil key insights in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team, whilst also being able to self-motivate and work autonomously when at home
• A passion for M&A and the determination to build a career within M&A Insurance
