The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AAE) at Purdue University invites applications for non-tenure track FacultyofEngineeringPracticepositionsattherankofassistant,associate,orfullprofessor.PurdueUniversityseeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertisein all areas of aeronautics and astronautics.
Successfulcandidatesmustholdanadvanceddegree(MSorPh.D.)inaerospaceengineeringoraclosely-related discipline by employment start date and have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience that supports AAE’s education, research, andengagement/outreachprograms.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillapplytheirexperiencesto teachundergraduateandgraduatelevelcoursesinareasrelatedtoaerospace engineering. Teaching duties may include hybrid and fully-online instruction. Candidates are expected to develop excellence within one or more mission areas aligned with the School’s mission (e.g., teaching, engagement, complementary scholarship) based on their previous professional practice. Candidates should explain how they will develop this area of excellence in their engagement/scholarship plan.
