THE SAIF STORY
We’ve placed the needs of Oregonians first since we started business over 90 years ago, when we helped logger Dewie McKilrath recover from an injury sustained on the job. Our unique charter allows us to focus on businesses and workers, not profit.
Today we’re the leading workers’ compensation insurance company in Oregon. Nearly 50 percent of all workers’ compensation policies are issued by SAIF, and we cover over half-a-million workers on the job. Our innovative injury prevention programs have helped make Oregon one of the safest places to work.
